You can determine what site permissions a rank has using the Manage Permissions button to the right of a given rank. Users will be automatically granted site permissions based on the in-game rank of their character.
- You can create custom ranks using the "Create New Role" button in the upper right of the Ranks & Permissions control page. Custom ranks can be used to assign privilege to guild members in addition to their default guild rank permissions.

"Please," Nicholai said, "Tell me of your deeds on this mission. Leave out no bloody detail..."((As some of you aware, I take pleasure in crafting RP events and missions for our guild members. There is one requirement before you are granted an RP mission: You must have your character biography posted in the guild forum. After you have completed your first RP assassination, you will be promoted to the level of Member. I invite you to make an RP post on the forum describing your mission in a detailed narrative for yourself and your fellow guild mates to enjoy. You will be granted more missions as you progress in levels and as time goes on. My hope is that you enjoy each mission both for the in-game mechanics and the roleplay.RP events will be held soon, once everyone has progressed enough to attend (our bases of operation: Hillsbrad requires at least level 20, Winterspring requires at least level 50). The more active you are in the guild and on the guild site will increase your enjoyment of the game, your character, and the guild itself. It will also ensure your continued inclusion in the future.-Nicholai))

"Things are slightly different here than you may be used to working for Lord Jorach," Nicholai said, "Ravenholdt Assassins are held to the highest standards in the world, and we have added a few rules, requirements, and regulations. Thus, if you had issues with Ravenholdt expectations, you will be unlikely to last here."The small room of assassins remained quiet, as their newly appointed leader continued."First, and foremost, we will not kill any member of the Horde. We are to garner trust and confidence from the Horde leaders, and that is difficult to accomplish when they are never sure if we are planning to kill them."Second, we may fight any member of House Ravenholdt whom stands in our way, but we may not kill them; they are still our brothers. This is similar to our standard Ravenholdt bylaws, except that the likelihood of Ravenholdt opposition to any of our missions has increase substantially. Furthermore, it is likely that Lord Jorach is working on a mirror guild to our House Hibernumbra across the faction lines, working for the Alliance. So, again... discretion and restraint are key."Finally, you will actively represent the guild in all your activities. If you gain a negative reputation, you may wish to bid farewell to your friends and family, because you may not see them the next day. Everything you do reflects upon us, and we are judged both by our clients in the Horde and our patron House Ravenholdt. If you look bad, we all look bad."Now... let's get to business..."((The following are the current guild requirements:
1. Roleplaying Presence:All members of the guild are expected and required to roleplay constantly in In-Character methods of communication. This includes all /say, /yell, and /emote commands. Furthermore, Guild Chat, Party Chat/Raid Chat, and Whispers will be In-Character unless designated Out-Of-Character by double-parentheses: ((OOC)).2. Guild InvolvementAll members of the guild are urged to check the Message of the Day, Guild Information tab, and Guild Calendar daily, to check for any changes in details. All members of the guild are urged group with one another whenever possible, to help foster comradery and character advancement; guild members within five levels of each other can likely quest together, and higher-level members can help lower-level character with more difficult content. Also, the guild Ventrilo is open for use in any of these tasks. (On a personal note, I assure you that grouping with a fellow roleplaying rogue will be the most fun questing you ever had. The efficiency is astounding, and the fun of having a like-minded ally is not to be underestimated.) Finally, all members are asked to sign up on the guild site and post in the forums regularly, particularly in presenting their character's backstory. Again, this will help for everyone to become more familiar with eachother and more connected as guildmates.3. Game Mechanic PrioritiesOur end-game goals are Roleplaying and PvP. However, most members of the guild currently have some ways off before level 80. And so, leveling/gearing should be your primary focus for the time being (keeping RP and the occasional PvP in mind, of course). Please, do not hesitate to ask for assistance in this process, and, conversely, do not hesitate to provide such assistance.4. Add-OnsThough currently not required, we will soon be asking all members to have the following add-ons: MyRoleplay and VanasKoS. The first is an add-on which serves two functions: allowing you to add additional character details in game (such as last name, title, physical description, etc), and flagging you as a roleplayer to all other users of the add-on. The second is a PvP add-on which, again, serves two purposes: granting you advance warning of player presence (by monitoring all in-game methods of detecting other players, such as combat logs, targeting, mouseovers, and chat), and indicating which characters have been designated "Kill on Sight." Later in our guild's development, we will be using the function of VanasKoS to share Kill-on-Sight lists, allowing for a guild-wide KoS list. We may be selling "Writs of Assassination" as one-time fees which will permanently place a character on the guild KoS list.We highly suggest all members install these add-ons and become familiar as soon as possible, as they will be required in the future.Thank you,Nicholai)) -
Inside your bag, you find an unmarked letter. The seal is pressed into dark blue wax: a dagger over a snowflake, encircled by the phrase "Mundus Vult Decipi, Ergo Decipiatur."
Q u o t e:
Your talents have been noticed and appreciated by Lord Jorach Ravenholdt. With tensions between the "Alliance" and the "Horde" on the rise, loyal, trustworthy artists are in more demand by the day. Your history with the Horde qualifies you for a special assignment. Your service has been requested in House Hibernumbra, a daughter guild of the famed Ravenholdt assassins. Consider the offer, as you will be contacted for your answer within the hour.
Nicholai Serdrevei,
Lord of House Hibernumbra
In service of House Ravenholdt.
((
Guild Name: House Hibernumbra
Realm: Emerald Dream
Faction: Horde
Guild Type: RP-PvP(RP+++++ PvP++++ PvE+)
Theme: Assassin Guild with Loyalties to the Horde
Style: RP-Based, Rogue-Only, Arranged World-PvP.
Guild Website: http://www.househibernumbra.wowstead.com/
Public Contacts: Nicholai, Varlus, Zalahyr
This guild is for those of you who love the Rogue RP quests for House Hibernumbra, love playing out the Cloak-and-Dagger missions in style, commit every "Kill Named Mob" quest as an assassination. This is for every Rogue who takes pride in his world PvP, not for griefing or camping, but as the true test of PvP awareness. If you know that Stealth takes more than a class ability, and that Subtlety is more than a talent spec... House Hibernumbra is for you.
First off, the guild is Rogue-only. If you do not have a Rogue, I highly suggest to roll one today, as they can be the most fun you have ever had in WoW. Secondly, this guild is RP first, PvP second. (We can not realistically claim any PvE ambitions with a guild of Rogues until we find a way to raid with 10 DPS...) If you do not RP, short of finding another server, you need not apply.
Sample events planned:
Alliance Capital City Assassinations
Paid Guild-Wide Kill-On-Sight List
RP Missions and Meetings
Battleground Strike Teams
The idea for this guild was created back when Nicholai was only level 30. In Desolace, I had the fortune of grouping with a Rogue, a fellow Roleplayer. Our rate and fun of questing increased exponentially. Later, a third Rogue was added... and the exponential rate of increase continued. Groups of Rogues can do things together that no other group composition can accomplish. And, with enough Roleplayers together... all sorts of creative possibilities come alive.
I waited to begin recruitment until I hit level 80, as the RP of the guild would not make any sense having a low-level Rogue lead it. Now, with a number of close friends nearing level 80 them selves, I feel comfortable beginning our first call for recruitment. So, please... post here and contact me in game if you are interested. (A web site will be up soon.)
